Actress Yami Gautam's younger sister Surilie Gautam made her film debut in a Punjabi romantic comedy film Power Cut with Jaspal Bhatti's son Jasraj Bhatti in 2012.

Surilie Gautam started her career at the age of 17 with a television serial called Meet Mila De Rabba that aired on Sony TV. The series premiered on November 3, 2008 and concluded on May 21, 2009. She then took a break to complete her studies.
