Karan Mehra is an Indian television actor who is playing the Protagonist in STAR Plus's long running TV serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai since January 2009. He is playing the lead role of Naitik Singhania.

Karan Mehra was born on September 10, 1982 in Jalandar, Punjab, India to Ajay Mehra (Father) & Bela Mehra (Mother). He was bought up in Delhi. His father Ajay Mehra is running a construction business & his mother Bela Mehra is a housewife. Karan Mehra have an younger brother Kunal Mehra.

Karan Mehra married his girlfriend TV actress & model Nisha Rawal on 24 November 2012.

Karan Mehra did his schooling from APJ School, Noida. He did fashion designing from National Institute of Fashion Technology(NIFT), Delhi. He worked four years for a fashion designer in Noida. After that he went to Mumbai. Karan Mehra started as assistant director for Rajkumar Hirani and Ram Gopal Verma and assistanted in four movies.

Karan Mehra also played a small role in Love Story 2050 as Harman Baweja’s friend. He did acting course from Kishore Namit Kapoor Institute.

After a lot of hard work, he got his first television break as the main lead role of Naitik Singhania in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal participated in celebrity dance reality show Nach Baliye 5.
