Paoli Dam (born 4 October 1980) is an Indian film actress. She spent her childhood in Kolkata. Paoli Dam was born in Kolkata to a Bengali Hindu family to Amol Dam (Father) & Papiya Dam (Mother). She have a brother named Mainak Dam. She attended Loreto School and later Vidyasagar College in Kolkata graduating with a degree in Chemistry. Subsequently she also earned a post-graduate degree in Chemistry at the Rajabazar Science College, University of Calcutta.

Paoli Dam began her acting career in the mega serial 'Tithir Atithi'. Paoli had come into the focus after the success of 'Kaalbela' directed by Gautam Ghose. In 2011 Paoli Dam starred in the film Mushrooms, which led to controversy in India when a sex scene from it, featuring her and actor Anubrato, was leaked on the internet. In 2012, she made her Bollywood debut in 'Hate Story'.
