Raveena Tandon offers a glimpse into the magical space she calls home. Raveena Tandon and Anil Thadani have recently shifted into their new bungalow after spending almost two years putting it togther. Everything right from the titles to the artefacts are personally handpicked by the couple over a period of time and through their various holidays abroad.

Raveena says," It doesn't have any particular theme but is a fusion of sorts. We've been told that our house has good vibrations and that's what matters." The garden area has wooden carved pillars much like the onee you see in Kerala. The porch has a Moroccan touch whereas the bedrooms have a French theme and other parts of the house offer a glimpse of the contemporary architecture. We take you over to her house.

The lovely open terrace is where the family converges at the end of the day to soak in the ambience. This is where they socialise with friends over drinks and dinner. The set up is perfect for all seasons. The decor is simple yet aesthetic. You could lounge here forever.

Framed!

This huge door leading to the terrace is testimony to Raveena's keen intrest in the arts. It could have been any regular door but the actress chose to havethis rather artistic one. Like most of the elements in her house, this too is designed and selected by her.

For art's sake

Raveena's love for art and especially paintings is evident throughout her spacious house. There are different corners in her house dedicated to the work of various artists. Renoened artists like Paresh Maiti and Thotta Vaikuntham embellish her walls. Her most favourite painting is the one gifted to her by her friend Nawaz Singhania. It's a painting of a Cheetah in motion.

Tigress' den

This is her personal space where she loves spending her free afternoons. The room has shelves full of books collected right from her childhood. It's an intresting mix of literature and ficition from authors across the world. It also includes her favourite like Archies amd Mad comics, Amar Chitra Katha and Enid Blyton books.

Sacred space

The temple is Raveena's favourite spot in the house. the open ceiling allows sunlight to trickle in through the day. It's a space where the family sits together, performs aarti in the presence of the family pundit. The beauty of the temple is that it is visible from every balcony of the bungalow. Also, it's perfect according to Vastu Shastra.
