Ragini Khanna (born 9 December 1988) is an Indian television actress who also appears in Bollywood films. She has appeared in many Hindi serials and reality shows on television, initially starting with Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi (2008–09). She is most known for portraying the role of Suhana Kashyap in popular sitcom Sasural Genda Phool which aired on Star Plus and ran successfully for two years (2010–12). In 2010, she was one of the contestants in the fourth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (2010), a Sony Entertainment Television dance show. She was also seen recently in Life OK's cookery show Welcome - Baazi Mehmaan-Nawaazi ki (2013).

Ragini Khanna's parents are Praveen Khanna & Kaamini Khanna. She is the 2nd child of her parents. Her elder brother, Amit Khanna is also an actor and has worked in serials like Yeh Dil Chahe More. Her mother, Kaamini Khanna is a writer, music director, singer, anchor and founder of 'Beauty with Astrology' & her father Praveen Khanna is a film producer. Ragini Khanna's maternal grandparents are Late Smt. Nirmala Devi (classical singer) and Shri Arun Ahuja (Actor).

She is the niece of famous Bollywood actor Govinda and the cousin of Krushna Abhishek (actor, stand-up comedian) and Soumya Seth (TV actress). She lives in Mumbai. She is a well trained singer and dancer. She knows Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, English, and Marathi language.

Ragini Khanna was born in Mumbai on December 9, 1988. She did her schooling from "R. N. Shah High School" and Masters in Commerce from the University of Mumbai. She has singing from “Prakash Prasad”, son of “Jagannath Prasad”. She wanted to become a singer but destiny had other plans for her and eventually she became an actress. As a child, she used to go to the shooting spots with her maternal uncle Govinda, who is a popular Bollywood actor.

In 2008 she made her debut with Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi of NDTV Imagine. She essayed the role of a confident & outspoken girl "Ragini Sharma", the middle daughter of "Radha Sharma" (played by Supriya Pilgaonkar).

In 2009, she got her breakthrough role of "Bharti" in Sony TV’s Bhaskar Bharti, Hindi adaptation of the popular Argentine comedy show Lalola. She played the role of female avatar of "Bhaskar" (played by Eijaz Khan), a man who transforms into a woman as a result of being cursed by one of his love interests. It acted like a milestone for her career as she quickly stole the limelight for her role. Her acting was appreciated by the viewers.

Later in 2009, Ragini was seen as a guest along with Sara Khan, Ratan Rajput & Tina Dutta in an episode of 10 Ka Dum (Indian version of the international reality game show Power of 10) hosted by Salman Khan. She won an amount of Rs. 10,00,000 along with Ratan Rajput.

In 2010, Ragini started working in Sasural Genda Phool which was launched as a prime time show on Star Plus. She received a lot of appreciation & recognition for her role of "Suhana" in the serial and it made her one of the best actresses of Indian television. Sasural Genda Phool ran successfully for two years with consistent good TRPs.

In December 2010, she participated in the 4th season of celebrity dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. The show helped her in showing her dancing skills to the audience.

Later in 2011, she participated in a celebrity singing reality show Star Ya Rockstar which aired on Zee TV.

Ragini Khanna's next project was then again Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. After being seen as a contestant in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, she was seen as a host in its fifth season, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 alongside Manish Paul.

In January 2013, Ragini Khanna was seen as a weekly contestant in a cookery show Welcome - Baazi Mehmaan-Nawaazi ki (Indian version of the international series Come Dine with Me) on Life OK. She will soon be seen as a host alongside TV actor Rithvik Dhanjani in Zee TV's upcoming talent based reality show India’s Best Dramebaaz produced by Essel Productions.

In 2011, Ragini Khanna made her Bollywood debut with Teen They Bhai, a comedy film directed by Mrighdeep Lamba, produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Productions and PVR Pictures. Her co-stars in the film were Om Puri, Shreyas Talpade and Deepak Dobriyal.

Ragini Khanna will soon star in the first Punjabi venture to be made by Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi’s production company, Grazing Goat Pictures.The film is titled as Ba Ji in Problem and it also stars Punjabi actors Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, veteran actor Om Puri and Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh. Ragini Khanna is also going to feature in Anil Sharma's forthcoming film Singh Saheb: The Great. She will play a significant part in the film as Sunny Deol's sister.

Ragini Khanna is also expected to appear in an upcoming untitled film by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. She would essay the role of daughter of Amitabh Bachchan’s character in the film. The film is based on father-daughter relationship and it will be Ragini Khanna’s second film with Mehra after Teen Thay Bhai. Although the actress has not announced anything related to the film yet.

Ragini Khanna has also tried stand-up comedy. Since 2009, she has appeared several times in various seasons of Comedy Circus, a popular reality-based stand-up comedy show of Sony TV. Although she never participated as a contestant but has appeared as a guest performer many times in various seasons of Comedy Circus. She has given guest performances with many celebrities like Shweta Tiwari, Rajesh Kumar and professional comedians like Kapil Sharma, Rajiv Nigam, Rehman Khan e.t.c. Ragini's real-life cousin Krushna Abhishek is also a stand-up comedian and has been a permanent contestant in almost every season of Comedy Circus.

She is now looking forward to work simultaneously in both television and Bollywood films. Her upcoming projects include talent hunt reality show India’s Best Dramebaaz on Zee TV and Bollywood film Singh Saheb The Great.
