Deepika Singh was born on July 26, 1986 in Delhi . She completed her Masters in Business Administration in Marketing at Punjab Technical University and later she was carrying on her father's business of garments. Her mother tongue is Punjabi. Deepika Singh is the eldest child of her parents, she have two younger sisters & one younger brother.

Deepika Singh made her début in the Star Plus series Diya Aur Baati Hum playing the role of Sandhya who is a fun-loving, spirited young girl who aspires of becoming an IPS Officer,but due to some strained circumstances, she ends up getting married to a sweet shop owner played by Anas Rashid, who then, unconditionally supports her in her journey.
