Simran Bagga is an Indian actress who has predominantly appeared in Tamil and Telugu films. She debuted in Bollywood and acted in several Hindi films, before starring in her first Tamil film V.I.P and her first Telugu film Abbai Gari Pelli in 1997. After some highly successful films, she went on establish herself as the most successful actress in Tamil and Telugu film industries.

Actress Simran was born on April 4, 1976 as Rishibala Naval in Mumbai, Maharashtra to parents Ashok Naval (Father) & mother is Sharda Ashok Naval(Mother). Simran have two younger sisters, Monal Naval & Jyoti Anand and an younger brother named Sumit Naval. Simran's younger sister actress Monal Naval committed suicide by hanging on 30 April 2002 aged just 21 in her room in Chennai. Simran's another younger sister actress Jyoti Anand is married to Bhojpuri actor Vinay Anand & her younger brother Sumit Naval is also an actor, who did few Malayalam movies.

Actress Simran is married to Deepak Bagga, who was a Pilot & her childhood family friend on December 2, 2003. They have two sons named Adheep Bagga (born 2005) & Aadit Bagga (born 2011). The couple have started their own production house called Arigem Movies. Her husband Deepak Bagga is the Director of their production house Arigem Movies
