Kushal Tandon is an Indian model turned actor. He is popularly for his role of Virat Singh Vadhera of in a television daily soap Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus opposite Nia Sharma.

Kushal Tandon was born on March 28, 1985 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh to parents Billu Tandon (Father) & Sandhya Tandon (Mother). Kushal Tandon have two elder sisters named Tina Bhushan & Bhavana Tandon Kapoor. His grandfather is a Lucknow Member of Parliament and Ex U.P minister Lalji Tandon. His dad runs a transport and oil business and is president of the Transport union in UP. Though he comes from a political and Business background, his mind was always set on showbiz and he always dreamt of being an actor.

Kushal Tandon did his schooling from The Scindia School, Gwalior.

Kushal Tandon is dating Elena Boeva, a Bulgarian girl whom he met at New York Film Academy when they were studying. Both of them were chosen as participants as a Jodi in Nach Baliye 5 on Star Plus. However, they got eliminated on February 3, 2013. Later it was revealed that Kushal and Elena split in March 2013.

Kushal Tandon has always dreamed of a career in the entertainment industry and has been a movie buff since childhood. He started modeling at an early age and in 2003 at only aged 18–19 he became a runner's up of Grasim Mr.India contest.

Kushal Tandon has worked on many ads with big brands such as Sony Ericsson, Skoda, Activia, Airtel, Dairy Milk, Eva Deodorant, Reid & Taylor, Kawasaki , Bajaj etc. Later, he went to the United States to study in the New York Film Academy. After his return, he started his acting career with Star Plus's daily show Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. He plays the character of Virat, a son of a rich family in Chandigarh.
